Last night was the first night that I was able to sleep through the night. I know my daddy is happy about that! I’m also able to walk around again without pain and I can go up and down stairs with ease now!
My scar is big and scary, but it’ll only get better from here. My hair is starting to grow back too!
I hadn’t been outside in days and it was really hard on me to be cooped up in the house, so my mommy and daddy let me walk outside and lay in the grass, I was so happy!
I know the road ahead is going to be tough, but I’m a tough girl, I’ll get through it.
Ohhh Char! You are sooooo sweet! I’m sorry I missed your first post but mighty glad I’m caught up now!

Yeah, this is a tough journey but we are a tough famiy of tripawds. You aren’t alne and we are always here for you:-)
Now, she may have some ups and downs over this two week recovery period,…that’s normal.
I have an adoped dog named “Nellie”…and except for the gray muzzle on her, she and Char could be sisters!
Look froward to more updates AND more photos! She is sooooo cute! The surgery site looks realy good too.

awwwwwwwwww sweetie.. you WILL get through it!!!! and don’t worry about that scar… it may be big and scary now.. but it will blend in, and your hair will grow back.. and you will be even more dang cuter than you are now!!!!!

Great job Cher, the first night of rest is so great. It’s amazing what you can do with three legs, sounds like you’re not even missing it anymore. Keep up the amazing progress.
Char, you are doing wonderfully! We are so proud of you. I put your video in my Tripawds before & after surgery playlist because I’m so hoppy to see you out there in the sunshine.
